Serhiy Buryak and Mykola Onishuk signed the Plan of joint actions of STA of Ukraine and Association of taxpayers of Ukraine for 2009
Plan of joint actions for 2009 of STA of Ukraine and Association of taxpayers of Ukraine signed today Head of STA of Ukraine Serhiy Buryak and President of ATU, Minister of justice of Ukraine Mykola Onishuk.
According to Head of STA of Ukraine Serhiy Buryak, informational work, provided jointly by STA of Ukraine and Association of taxpayers of Ukraine, is especially important in conditions of low legal and tax awareness of citizens. Only during of 2008 were organized 6 clustered seminars in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovs’k, Khmelnytskyy, Mykolayiv, Chernigiv, L`viv, in which took part more than 2,500 taxpayers.
We remind, that on the 5th of February 2008 was signed Memorandum on tax relations between STA of Ukraine and ATU and Plan of joint actions for 2008. In the context of the Plan on the regional level were conducted joint conferences, meetings, “round tables”, was activated informational work on improving the submit of tax accounts and registers of tax bills in electronic variant, development and adaptation of new projects of normative acts on taxation.
Also was activated joint work with future taxpayers. Association of taxpayers of Ukraine is continuous co-organizer of all-Ukrainian competition of children’s art “Taxes by children’s eyes”.
“Today, signing the Plan of joint actions for 2009, we reach fundamentally new level of cooperation – stage of successive and suspended constructive actions, discussion of actual problems of reform of taxes and charges”, – said President of Association of taxpayers of Ukraine Mykola Onishuk.
Except the measures, which already proved their effectiveness (clustered and regional seminars), Plan of joint actions for 2009 between STA of Ukraine and Association of taxpayers of Ukraine contains novelties – publishing of series of compilation on tax legislation, activation of activity of joint working group on decision of problematic issues etc.
“The Board of STA of Ukraine confirmed Plan of strategic actions of STA of Ukraine for 2009, one of main guiding line of which is promotion of level of tax culture and quality of servicing of taxpayers, improving of work of all branches of tax service with taxpayers”, – noticed Head of STA of Ukraine Serhiy Buryak.
In that way officers of tax service realize that public organizations keep the level of accountability of authorities to the society and, at the same time, provide the protection of interests and legal rights of taxpayers.
